Landon - 3 months

Landon turned 3 months on the 22nd of June.
Sorry it has taken a while to post this.

3 month's old

Laughing at Daddy and giving him the smile!
He loves Justin and this is the respons Justin gets
every-single-time! :)

Love'n Monkey

This was funny- he was playing with Monkey, and then Monkey
took a tumble so Landon held him with his feet looking/smiling at him.
It was pretty adorable.

I can't believe it has been 3 months - almost 4 now!
I love this baby!

4th of July

Me & Sweet Landon

His new stance, listening oh-so-closely to the
fireworks being shot off  in our neighborhood.
(I need to state for the record that my child does not always go without any pants,
especially outside in the front yard, but we were only going out for just a minute.
I wanted to put pants on him, but didn't want to run upstairs just to go out for a minute. Besides, he's only two- who really cares?? Well, besides his Mommy??! )

His expression to the loud pops of fire crackers!

 Me and my little men!

Happy 4th from Cameron!

from both of them...

Landon was a bit hard to hold ...

Could not get this fist out of his mouth if I wanted to.
I was hoping to catch one of those sweet smiles but he just loves his fist!

This was Cameron! He was SOO tiny!
I was trying to re-capture this picture... wasn't going to happen! :)

I'm Alive

Since there seems to be huge controversey these days about abortion, I wanted to share with you all this poem my husband wrote. My husband has a  love for our Lord and Saviour unlike any man I have seen in an extremely long time. This is a poem he wrote before we even met, and I promise it will bring you to tears.

I'm Alive (Abortion)

You took my future, you took my life,
My days were ended at the edge of the knife.

In your womb I had no chance,
You made up your mind and took your stance.

I thought you loved me, that's why I'm here,
Did I do something wrong, am I your fear?

I have arms, legs and hands to touch,
Given the chance, I would have loved you so much.

With your heartbeat I jumped for joy,
You have thought of me nothing, not even a toy.

My love inside of you was very strong,
You took me to the doctor and did me wrong.

Why do you hate me, what have I done?
Would I have made you stay home and spoiled your fun?

In your life I would have been your light,
You made your decision, this was my last night.

I had no strength, I could not fight,
You took their support and thought they were right.

I felt the blade pierce through my heart,
You knew I would die, right from the start.

You made your choice; you had your way,
You thought of yourself and for that I had to pay.

I now live in the kingdom of Gods glory,
As you walk this earth ashamed of your story.

No more pains and no more sorrow,
My Father has given me a future and a promised tomorrow.

I am his and he is mine,
I was his baby before there was time.

If you repent I will see you again,
Give him your life and turn from your sin.

Please if you would, do this for me,
You are my Mommy and will always be.

I need you Mommy in this Promised Land,
Give your life to Jesus and you will know where I am.

In his kingdom, your all that I see,
Mommy, do you ever think of me?

Shaving practice!

My mother-in-law and I were at Wal-Mart yesterday and we came across this adorable Lil' man shaving set! Here is Cameron showing us how to shave just like Daddy... I love this...
Cameron and Justin have a very special bond. Cameron loves doing everything that Daddy does!

All lathered up.

Knowing to be very careful - even though this is a play razor!

Careful around the mouth - just like Daddy.

Not sure how well this shows up but he has one eye closed!
Needing to be careful and not cut himself.

Rinsing and tapping the razor- yes,
he tapped the razor on the side of the sink just like Daddy!

Seeing if he missed any spots :)

Getting a closer look...

Checking both sides.

Almost done!

Oh-So-Smooth!!

All done and clean shaven! I love this little boy!

My Delight, My Heart

Being a mother of boy's is one thing that I can honestly say never crossed my mind. LOL.
Being a mother crossed my mind, yes, but I never thought I would have all boy's. Let me just say, God knows exactly what we need! My two boy's are the delight of my life and both of them have absolutely stole my whole heart, F-O-R-E-V-E-R!

I want to take a moment to brag on my first born.
Cameron Shane is 2 years and 4 months old, lol (a mother always knows the months doesn't she?)
Cameron brightens my days with his laughter, his huge smile, beautiful eyes and things he comes up with to say. However, a part of my heart is broken by this. Growing up. He is now wearing a 4t shirt, 3t pants, a size 8 almost 9 shoe and weighs about 34 pounds. He thinks he is the top dog around here, literally. He loves to imitate our little dog Gracie. He loves Gracie more than anyone could ever imagine. She has been around since he was born and loves him very much, a very loyal dog. We all love Gracie! I could go on and on about her and the funny things they do together!

Things I see changing in Cameron -
1. Using big boy words- instead of asking for a "bite, bite, juice" he asks for a "drink and eats"... let me just say that I find myself correcting him telling him it is still a "bite, bite, juice, Mama"...
2. He is completely potty-trained with the exception of naps and bedtime.
3. His continuous love for his baby brother. He seems so grown when he is interacting with Landon.
4. He knows all of his ABC's and most of his colors. We are working on numbers and shapes.
5. We have to be extremely careful with our words and actions because he copies EVERYTHING!!
(Please know that we do not ever do or say anything that isn't appropriate.)

Those are just to name a few. Anyway, I just wanted to share with you just a little bit.
Here are some pictures of my delight and love :)

In Memory Of ...

This has been a hard week for our family. My husband lost his beloved Uncle Gene two days ago. He suffered a major heart-attack last Friday morning.
I am so thankful that we had the opportunity to spend some time down in Texas last November, and it was the last time he saw him. We had a wonderful time visiting and I am thankful for the memories we were able to capture on film. I only met him once but felt like I knew him for a long time!

We will miss you Uncle Gene and we look forward to seeing you again soon!

What I Believe

I am not much of a news watcher but what is happening in our world is making my heart sick!
I simply feel I need to share this with you all...

I am not sure where to begin, but this all sums it up! These are taken from the Focus On The Family website & it is what I believe. I could not say it better.

The Permanence of Marriage

We believe that the institution of marriage is a sacred covenant designed by God to model the love of Christ for His people and to serve both the public and private good as the basic building block of human civilization. Marriage is intended by God to be a thriving, lifelong relationship between a man and a woman enduring through trials, sickness, financial crises and emotional stresses. Therefore, Christians are called to defend and protect God's marriage design and to minister in Christ's name to those who suffer the consequences of its brokenness.
"'Haven't you read,' He replied, 'that at the beginning the Creator 'made them male and female,' and said, 'For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh'? So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate.'" Matthew 19:4-6

The Value of Male and Female

We believe that God created humans in His image, intentionally male and female, each bringing unique and complementary qualities to sexuality and relationships. Sexuality is a glorious gift from God to be offered back to Him either in marriage for procreation, union and mutual delight or in celibacy for undivided devotion to Christ. Christians are called to proclaim the truth and beauty of God's design and the redemption of sexual brokenness in our lives and culture through Jesus Christ.
"Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God – this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is – His good, pleasing and perfect will." Romans 12:1-2
